The success of this farming season is now largely defined. The calves and lambs will have been counted
and the success of last years mating and this springs weather effects will be evident.
In most dairy regions fifty percent of the seasons milk will have been produced and prospects for this
seasons silage and hay known.
Good pasture growing seasons with adequate stock numbers are one of the infrequent pleasures of pastoral
Economics aside, the satisfaction of a walk on a sunny day through thriving stock grazing pasture that
is visibly growing is a satisfaction indeed
