Dairy Farmers Urged to have Their SayMonday, May 19, 2003
Dairy Farmers of New Zealand Chair Kevin Wooding is urging all dairy farmers to have their say in the upcoming elections for Fonterra Directors, the Dairy InSight Board and the Dexel Trust.
“It is vital that all dairy farmers have a say in the way their industry is run, said Mr Wooding.
“There is plenty of information available to help dairy farmers make an informed decision. However if dairy farmers feel they need more information I would encourage them to engage in dialogue with the candidates.
“If dairy farmers do not get behind these elections they cannot complain if they do not like the results further down the track.”
